Robert Coppola
CIO
Robert Coppola is responsible for managing and enhancing Cision's technology capabilities and security posture on a global basis.

Prior to joining Cision, Coppola spent four years with McGraw-Hill Financial as the Chief Information and Technology Officer for S&P Capital IQ and S&P Dow Jones Indices, a leading provider of ratings, benchmarking and analytics in the global capital and commodity markets.

There, he was responsible for driving the overarching technology strategy, architecture and development in addition to evolving multiple silo-based teams into one global operating team.

He has also held leadership positions with Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg LP. Coppola holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Rutgers University.
Lorna Mattis
HR director, Cision EMEA
Lorna is the HR Director, Cision EMEA, responsible for leading the HR strategy for Cision’s EMEA business.

She is ultimately focused on ensuring that our people have the skills and resources in place to achieve our strategic goals and works closely with the rest of the executive team to ensure that we maintain a great culture and an engaged workforce.

Lorna joined in April 2013 as Head of Human Resources at Gorkana Group, reporting to Jeremy Thompson (Managing Director, Cision EMEA). Prior to this, she held a number of strategic and operational HR roles across a variety of sectors including the Dentsu Aegis Network, Virgin Group, Burberry and Michael Page.

Lorna graduated in English Literature and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management. She is also a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).
Tom Ritchie
Product Director, EMEA & India
Tom joined Cision in 2002 and spent eight years in various roles including leading the UKs Customer Services and Sales divisions & European Product Development organisation before becoming the Managing Director of the Cision UK business in 2012.

In 2014 Tom relocated from London to Chicago where he led the global product team, driving innovation and defining the product strategy as SVP of Product Management.

After the acquisition of Gorkana, Tom returned to the UK to focus on driving the European product road map and focus on evolving Cision's Analysis and Monitoring services and now sits on the European executive team reporting into Abe Smith.

Tom’s international perspective combined with direct sales, services and marketing leadership experience and a deep understanding of Cision's market and products play an integral role in creating the ultimate technology to power our client's stories.
Peter Low
Peter Low
MD - EMEA
As managing director, EMEA, Peter Low is responsible for driving strategy and go-to-market execution across Cision's EMEA region.

With more than 20 years of experience developing multinational organisations, Low was one of the founders and CEO of Precise Media Group, where he led the company through a period of rapid growth resulting in its acquisition by Kantar Media.

He subsequently worked as chief strategy officer at Kantar Media, where he led the integration of the company's monitoring and evaluation businesses in Europe. Low's deep experience in the industry also includes roles as CFO and MD of PR Newswire Europe, where he spearheaded the company's business expansion across Europe.
Chris Lynch
CMO
Chris Lynch oversees Cision’s global marketing teams. Serving as Chief Marketing Officer, Lynch is responsible for Cision’s global marketing strategy - spanning communications, product and digital marketing.

Previously, he ran product marketing and go-to-market strategy for Oracle’s Marketing Cloud business and also held leadership positions at companies like Badgeville and TIBCO.

Kevin Akeroyd
Kevin Akeroyd
Global CEO
Kevin Akeroyd oversees the Cision executive management team across operations globally.

He has more than 25 years of experience in reshaping modern digital, social and mobile marketing globally. Prior to Cision he was general manager and senior vice president at Oracle Marketing Cloud.

Akeroyd and Oracle created the Enterprise Marketing Platform category and led it from the onset. Prior to Oracle, he held senior leadership positions at several companies, including Data.com, Salesforce.com, RR Donnelley, and Jigsaw.

Akeroyd holds degrees from both the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
